Privacy policy
Last updated: May 2026
UploadPhoto.org (“we”, “us”) formats real photos you upload into files sized for passport, visa, and similar applications. This policy describes what we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and your choices. We are not a government agency.
What we collect
When you use the flow we process the image file you submit, technical metadata needed to run the service (for example file type and size), and basic request data our host records (for example IP address and timestamps). If you pay, Stripe processes your payment details — we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
How we use information
We use your upload to generate previews and, after payment, final outputs you asked for. We use logs and identifiers to operate the site, prevent abuse, fix errors, and comply with law. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your photos to train generative or recognition models.
Retention and deletion
Uploaded images and generated outputs are kept only as long as needed to provide the service and are then deleted on a short schedule (target: within 24 hours of upload or job expiry, subject to our purge jobs completing successfully). Payment records may be retained longer as required for accounting, tax, and fraud prevention.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. Stripe’s privacy policy governs payment data they collect. We receive limited transaction metadata (for example amount, currency, and identifiers) to unlock downloads and for support.
Security
We use HTTPS, access controls on storage, and signed URLs for downloads. No security practice is perfect; if you discover a vulnerability, contact us responsibly.
Your choices
Where applicable law gives you rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, you may contact us. Some requests may be limited by legal obligations or legitimate business needs (for example retaining invoices).
Children
The service is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). Do not upload photos of children except as part of a lawful application you are completing.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised policy.
